Advocacy Academy Mission
To encourage our community members to become more civically engaged and provide participants with the tools they need to become effective and progressive leaders.
We will do this, in part, by providing quarterly weekend trainings on a variety of topics including fundraising, campaign development, community organizing, and effective constituent communication skills.
- To bring grassroots efforts back to the neighborhood level
- Transform community members to become community leaders
- Empower community leaders to become viable progressive candidates who win elections
- Develop a toolkit that can scale programming efforts to all corners of the state
