She was formerly a Senior Legislative Aide for California State Assemblymember Cecilia Aguiar-Curry, where she staffed Health, Education, Public Safety, Agriculture, Water, and the Utilities and Energy committees. Alice received a Bachelors from the University of California Davis in Political Science-Public Service and a Masters from Pepperdine Caruso Law School in Legal Studies and Dispute Resolution. She is very active in the Sacramento community. She joined Fem Dems in 2018 and has since served as Community Service Committee chair, Finance Director, Membership Director, Vice President and is the current President for Fem Dems. She is a Bakersfield native and was involved in multiple politically focused groups, most notably the Young Assemblymember's Program with Rudy Salas and as an organizer for March for Our Lives Bakersfield in 2018. She graduated from University of California, Davis in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In addition, Herrera joined the California Target Book team in 2023 and serves as the Communications Director. Prior to joining Marva Diaz Strategies, Herrera worked as an Administrative Assistant at Spectrum Campaigns.
